Martin Luther King Jr Top 3 Tips For Success

Posted on Posted in Success Blog, Top 3 Fridays

This man changed the world. His courage and conviction concerning the equality of all people changed perspectives worldwide. There is no way that you could deny the wisdom that he held. Let’s have a look at Martin Luther King Jr Top 3 Tips For Success.

1. “Faith is Taking The First Step Even When You Can’t See The Whole Staircase.” – Martin Luther King Jr

I remember when I first started my blog. It was a scary moment to say the least. I would often wonder what good can come of it. I don’t know what to expect. I was diving head first into the unknown. In life, you’re not always going to have everything figured out. Nothing is guaranteed. This can be a hard pill to swallow for many but it’s needed. When unclear in your way, you’ve got to hold on to your faith. Believe that God will lead you through the things that you have no control over. It feels much better.

2. “Never succumb to the temptation of bitterness.” – Martin Luther King Jr

I talk to a lot of people and one underlying current in a lot of the conversations is their bitterness. This maybe due to what happened when they were growing up, what others have done to them, or anything at all. This bitterness that they harbour affects them greatly. Some people will hold on to the bitterness as an excuse for not achieving anything. Why? Because it’s easier to blame someone else for why you aren’t successful than to point the finger at yourself. DON’T be that guy.

3. “No person has the right to rain on your dreams.” – Martin Luther King Jr

There are some people that don’t want you to succeed. They feel good when you aren’t achieving anything. These people can be close to you, friends, family or anyone at all. You’ve got to be careful. Especially with exposing your dreams to people. Robert Greene says it well in the 48 Laws Of Power through Law 3: Conceal Your Intentions. When you expose your dreams to people you give them power. Once they know what you are trying to achieve they can begin to spew negativity on your party. This is not what you want. Don’t give them that kind of power. No one deserves that power.
